Early Childhood Workshops (Ages 0-5)
The fundamentals of child development lay the groundwork for ideas on effectively working with preschoolers. Among the topics covered:
The mindsets and styles of preschoolers
Four different kinds of temper tantrums and how to manage them
The wide range of differences in eating, sleeping, mood, and activity levels
Topics based on participants’ questions
School-Age Workshops (Ages 6-18)
This workshop purposely covers a very wide range of age groups because fundamental parenting principles are the same for all ages. Among the topics covered:
Parenting goals: How do you find them, and how to know you are on the right track
Methods of correcting behaviors: what works and what’s right for you and your child
Managing the pressures of school, sports, social media, and peers
Working with a spouse; managing separation/divorce
Topics based on participants’ requests and questions
Program Format:
30-minute introductory session
90-minute online workshops
In-person workshops can be arranged for groups.
Cost:
$100 per person / $125 per couple
Group rates are available for parent organizations, schools, or community groups
